Fever win 88-82 against the Mercury

The Indiana Fever rallied for an 88-82 victory over the Phoenix Mercury on Tuesday night at Gainbridge Fieldhouse.
Caitlin Clark led the Fever with 15 points, 12 assists, and 9 rebounds. Victoria Vivians added 14 points, while Destanni Henderson and NaLyssa Smith each scored 13 points.
The Mercury were led by Brittney Griner, who had 24 points and 10 rebounds. Diana Taurasi added 18 points, while Skylar Diggins-Smith scored 16 points.
The Fever took the lead for good in the third quarter when Clark hit a three-pointer to give them a 52-51 lead. The Fever led by as many as nine points in the fourth quarter, but the Mercury cut the lead to three points with just over a minute remaining. However, the Fever hit their free throws down the stretch to secure the victory.
The Fever improved to 10-14 with the win, while the Mercury fell to 11-13.
